Finding the right pillow is a very personal
process. A good pillow is an absolute necessity for a good night’s sleep, but everyone’s
sleep habits and needs are so different. Where to begin? With a consultation at
Feather Factory. We custom make our pillows in a variety of sizes
and levels of firmness to meet your individual needs. And we can make on-the-spot
adjustments to ensure that we get it just right for you.
In general, the more down content, the
softer the pillow. White Hutterite goose down makes a slightly firmer pillow than
silver goose down, since the Hutterite down is more mature and therefore has more
size and structure. Our 50/50 grey duck down and feather blend is an excellent compromise
between softness and support and is an economical alternative to all-down. Our best-selling
pillows are made with a 20/80 grey duck down and feather blend and start at only
$46. We recommend that you try our sample pillows in-store before making a decision
(yes, it’s okay to lie down on our display beds!) to ensure that you are getting
the feel and level of support you need.
For people with
neck problems our chiropractic pillow is an excellent choice. Built in three lengthwise
sections, the firm outer channels hold your neck at an optimal angle for comfortable
sleep, while the soft inner channel allows your head to sink to a natural level.
All Feather
Factory pillows are made from white, 100% cotton down-proof ticking with
a 230 thread count. We double stitch all our seams to ensure that the fill stays
where it should – inside the pillow. To extend the life of your pillow ticking,
we recommend using pillow protectors. Protectors are removable and machine washable
and add an extra layer of fabric to absorb oil and perspiration and protect your
pillows from stains and damage. Our 100% cotton protectors are $11 for Std, $13
for Queen, $16 for King, $15.00 for Euro and $24 for body pillows.
